Legendary for our high alpine trails, the Revelstoke mountain biking experience changes with the seasons. In spring and early summer, ride amongst big trees, tacky dirt, and an otherworldly sea of green through Revelstoke's inland rainforest. As the sun pushes the snow back to the summits, Revelstoke mountain biking trails climb upward to reveal the high mountain jewels of the area. Revelstoke biking adventure abounds; whether you're looking for shuttle accessed downhill, an x-country tour, or just pedaling to see what's on the other side of the mountain.
Whether you’re looking for an easy trail or an extreme traverse, there is a hiking option for you here in Revelstoke! With many mountains topping 10,000 feet, you can climb on glaciers and high alpine meadows – either by hiking up marked trails, or taking a ride in a helicopter to remote and untouched wilderness areas. If you'd prefer to stay closer to valley bottom, there are many hiking trails exploring our vast rainforest.

The Illecillewaet River (say that three times fast!) is home to Revelstoke's best whitewater rafting, kayaking, and canoeing. This cool, glacier-fed river is quite refreshing on a warm summer day! If you’re looking for a more gentle adventure, try stand up paddle boarding or flat water boating on Lake Revelstoke, the Columbia River, and the Upper Arrow Lake areas.
